Fire up for round three! The iXS Downhill Cup is stopping off in Steinach, Thuringia, for the third time in a row this year. Who will master the short but tough course best at the third attempt? The fastest downhillers will once again be sought in the Bikearena Silbersattel.

A look back, in 2022 the downhill track in the Silbersattel bike park was renewed. In the meantime, word has gotten around that the Fellberg is home to an attractive bike park and the 2024 season opened at the end of February with the best conditions. The local heroes are eager to race on their home track and have had plenty of time to get to know every rock and every root. But will it be enough to keep the national and international competition at bay?

Speed provides security

After Johann Potgieter took the top spot on the podium in the elite men's race and Lea Kumpf in the women's race in 2023, it will be interesting to see who secures the title this year. The South African's fastest time last year was 2:06.8 minutes, that's the time to beat. The starting field will be strong again this year and an exciting race can be expected.

Launch of the Thuringia Triple

After Winterberg and Willingen, the iXS Downhill Cup makes its first stop in Thuringia this season and opens the Thuringia Triple. Look forward to the natural track in a different world full of bikes, cool people and a beautiful landscape on the edge of the Rennsteig.
