After many years away, the legendary former Crankworx location is once again the venue for the iXS European Downhill Cup. The riders can expect not only a majestic mountain backdrop at an altitude of over 2,400 meters, but also a high-alpine race in a class of its own.

Brief history 📖

Les 2 Alpes already hosted the European Cup between 2014 and 2016. The course was already fast and challenging back then and demanded everything from the big names in attendance, such as Gee Atherton and Myriam Nicole. The track 😈

The downhill course in Les 2 Alpes goes by the name of "Fury". It includes some massive jumps at the beginning, after which doubles, drops and hips provide the necessary adrenaline rush. Very high speed will also be the big theme. Technical turns further down in the forest are the next challenge. So there's everything you need to push yourself to your limits.

The bike park 🚲

The Fury trail is part of the 2 Alpes Bike Park, which is the official name of the entire mountain bike area there. It is probably one of the largest bike parks in the Alps and offers the perfect playground for mountain bikers of all ages and disciplines. The high alpine bike park offers an incredible altitude difference of 1,500 meters. There are more than one hundred kilometers of marked trails in all possible levels of difficulty, and the surroundings with steep and majestic mountains will definitely catch your eye.

The town ⛩️

Les 2 Alpes has a reputation for being one of the liveliest resorts in the mountains in summer. Party atmosphere, excellent restaurants, a wide selection of stores and events throughout the summer. There is a lively and welcoming atmosphere on every street corner.

How to get there 🚐

The resort is located in the heart of the French Alps, in the Oisans Valley near Grenoble. From Grenoble, drive to Bourg-d'Oisans and then up to the resort of Les 2 Alpes. It is around 75 minutes by car from Grenoble
