After presenting a packed race calendar, we are now entering the next phase of season preparation. Series registration is now open so that you can register for the EDC, the DHC and the Kids Cup.

Being quick pays off

For the EDC, series registration will remain open until the registration deadline for the first race in Santiago de Besteiros. In the DHC, series registration will only be possible until the regular registration for the race in Winterberg opens. The reason for this is that, based on the experience of recent years, the race in Winterberg is fully booked shortly after registration opens and the waiting list will then take effect.

RDC gets delayed

Series registration for the PROPAIN Rookies Cup (RDC) remains closed for the time being. This is due to unresolved questions regarding the Cycling Austria Member Card, in particular with regard to insurance cover for international participants. We are working on a quick solution and will inform you as soon as this series registration is also possible.

How to Registration

To be able to register for a series in the two cups, you must select at least four races in the respective racing series. Of course, you can also register for all races in the series. It should be noted that five of the seven races in the iXS Downhill Cup are counted, which means that two results can be cancelled.

This is different in the iXS European Downhill Cup. Here, there will be no scratch results because this series is aimed more at athletes who take the sport seriously and professionally. Similar to the World Cup, the aim here is to perform as well as possible at all events and therefore all results will be included in the final ranking.

Premium-Account

Series registration is only available to Premium Account members. So if you want to register for one of the racing series, you must get a Premium account if you do not already have one. Premium membership offers further benefits, such as the option to upload pictures and sponsor logos to your profile and the SMS information service on race results and start times.

The cup for the next generation

And the youngsters in the VPACE Kids Cup can also look forward to a fast registration process this year. It is definitely worth taking advantage of the series registration, as the two races in Winterberg in particular are quickly fully booked. But other locations are also in high demand, and the season finale in Leogang is another real highlight for the Cup.

The VPACE Kids Cup continues to grow

Participants in the VPACE Kids Cup are more flexible in their planning. Here, at least three of the six races must be selected in order to register for the series. As with the Rookies, the four best race results will then also count towards the overall ranking.
