The iXS Downhill Cup is back!

The new season of the iXS Downhill Cup 2025 kicks off this weekend in Willingen. The traditional race is not only the perfect start to the series, but is also fully booked. Those who take part can look forward to a tried-and-tested course, a great location and pure race feeling!

Willingen as usual

Willingen is a firm favourite in the calendar of the iXS Downhill Cup. Once again this year, the Sauerland is the ideal host for the opening race - centrally located, easily accessible and with a wealth of experience in bike events. The region lives and loves cycling and, in addition to the race, also offers plenty of leisure activities for supporters and fans.

More than just racing

Parallel to the iXS Downhill Cup, the legendary BIKE Festival will once again take place in Willingen - a real highlight on the MTB calendar. With a large outdoor expo, numerous brand stands, test bikes, shows and lots of side events, the festival offers the perfect supporting programme around the race. So if you want to have a look around between the training runs or after the seeding, you will find everything a biker's heart desires here - from the latest equipment to exciting insights into the trends of the coming season.

Compact, fast, technical

The 1.5-kilometre course with a depth of 200 metres is a real classic. Fast, direct, but also technically demanding - precision is just as important here as courage. From the first sprint to the final bend, the course demands everything from the riders. Anyone who is fast here has definitely taken their winter training seriously.
