For all Austrian races, participants without a UCI licence must take out their own insurance online through the Austrian Cycling Federation. This is valid for one year and costs €49 for Austrian citizens.
People who have their main residence in another European country and are visiting Austria as guests can purchase the Cycling Austria Member Card Guest, which costs €65 per year. The card – and thus also the insurance cover – becomes valid at midnight on the day following registration for membership. Participants from non-European countries must have a UCI licence.
