Race Calendar RDC 2023
If you think that five months are still a long time until the first race of 2023, you're wrong. Because three months have already passed since we crowned the International Rookies Champs in Schladming. And it feels like that was only a fortnight ago...
Mike Huter enjoys his title as the latest International Rookies Champ in
the Boys U17 category.
While some of us still enjoy Netflix and a warm cup of tea next to the Christmas tree, others are already biking or skiing in the snow to prepare for the upcoming season. But no matter what your winter activities look like these days: I'm sure you can't wait to get back to the starting line. The feeling of standing at the start and riding past the light barrier is, after all, the ultimate adrenaline kick and has the potential to make you highly addicted. As downhill racing is always full of surprises and sudden changes, we would like to reveal a secret. From the 2023 racing season, PROPAIN Bicycles will become the new title sponsor of the Rookies Cup. So, from now on, it will be called PROPAIN Rookies Cup. We at Racement are very happy to have a new partner at our side who supports young downhill riders and plays a major role in the racing series. Welcome, PROPAIN Bicycles! :)
When the clock is ticking and adrenaline kicks in…
Over the last few weeks we have been busy working on the race calendar for 2023, talking to sponsors and coordinating with event hosts to ensure that the new season will once again be a great experience for all athletes. To cut a long story short, we present you the new Rookies Cup calendar for 2023:
PROPAIN
Rookies Cup calendar 2023 with five unique venues.
Winterberg, Oberhof, Saalbach, St. Kassian and Schladming - a combination of diverse tracks that already provided exciting races in 2022. So first of all, a big thank you to the promoters who have been supporting us for several years and who will stay on board for the Rookies Cup. The first race in Winterberg will again take place as part of the iXS Dirt Masters Festival. That means: Racing on Thursday and cheering for the riders at the iXS Downhill Cup and witnessing cool tricks at the Whip-Off and Slopestyle Contests the rest of the weekend.

Oberhof has also re-entered the race calendar. Let's see how many new roots come out by then and create a technically challenging course for the riders. Known for many corners and a considerable course length, Saalbach is also back in the mix and continues to be an integral part of the Glemmride Bike Festival.
Thumbs
up that Saalbach is back in the 2023 race calendar
And to add a little holiday feeling to the race calendar, we are heading to beautiful South Tyrol in August, to the village of St. Kassian. In addition to tasty South Tyrolean bacon, the village also has a great downhill track that is popular among riders. The siblings Raoul & Emric Schneeberger are also looking forward to the venue:

Kassian (ITA).
How does one say? The best things come at the end. You probably already know what we're talking about: the season's crowning finale in Schladming. We and the Bike School Pekoll can barely wait to do another race in the popular bike park.
Schladming is on! The
bike park will be back in 2023.
To sum up, we can only say: It's going to be a great PROPAIN Rookies Cup season in 2023 and we are already looking forward to numerous registrations!
