The third stop of the iXS Downhill Cup 2025 in Špičák had everything gravity fans could wish for: a picture-perfect track for hardliners, summery weather and top-level racing.

Friday - Line study in the dust

The traditional Czech course immediately showed its roughest side: fast, technical, rocky - one of the toughest in the entire DHC calendar. The Maxxis Course Preview was staged by the Australian Apogee Academy as a casual party train with four riders - a fun descent where you could still learn a lot about the course. The training was then focussed, with intensive line scouting into the evening.

Saturday – Seeding Day

In hot temperatures, the course was a cloud of dust - spectacular to watch but tricky to ride. Lino Neumann (GER - iXS Gravity Alliance) secured the fastest time in the elite men's category with a lead of over six seconds - impressive! Alizes Lassus (FRA - Extreme Bikes) took the lead in the Elite Women's race and claimed the seeding victory.

Sunday – Final Run

Things got serious in the race - and really hot again. The track was deep and the field was thinned out by a few crashes. Lino Neumann had to withdraw due to injury after his strong seeding run.

Jan Cepelak (CZE - JC Racing) took victory in the Elite Men category, ahead of his compatriot Robin Novotny (OFBIKE Scott Team) and Jannik Abbou (GER - DH Talent Team).

Alizes Lassus once again came out on top in the Elite Women's category. Second place went to Nikola Volejnikova (CZE - North Bike Club) and third place went to the German Marlena Rieger from Team Fracebike.

Race Action in the Czech Republic

With its rough character, wild lines and an extensive riders' field, Spicak once again provided a real racing feeling. The race was challenging, intense and full of emotion - exactly what the iXS Downhill Cup is all about. Full speed ahead to the next round in Austria Lienz!
