Dolce Vita in Pila
Croatia, Slovenia, Austria, Norway and now Italy. This year's iXS European Downhill Cup had a lot to offer in terms of nations, tracks and riders and demanded a wide variety of riding skills from the athletes in the most diverse locations. A competition in which one has to assert oneself again and again in order to be able to ride at the front. The grand finale will now take place this weekend from 9 to 11 September in the Pila Bikepark at an altitude of 1,800 metres, with a breathtaking view of Monte Rosa.

THE TRACK
Due to the varied downhill course with high-speed passages, steep sections with rocky edges, rutted root sections, playful berms and some jumps over a length of 2.7 kilometres with a difference in altitude of over 460 metres. The high-altitude Pila offers the perfect venue. As not only technical skills and endurance are required, but also mental strength, this track is very popular with many professionals and is often considered a training course for the World Cup.
