Every year, hundreds of riders and thousands of spectators are drawn to the picturesque town of Ilmenau in the Thuringian Forest. The race is known for its challenging course, which offers a mixture of steep descents, tight bends and challenging jumps.
The track in Ilmenau once wound its way through the dense forest. As this has now been almost completely destroyed by the bark beetle, a solution has to be found by August. The local club is currently working flat out to make the track race-ready again as quickly as possible. Further information on the track construction in Ilmenau will be available in the near future.

The third round of the iXS Downhill Cup 2025 is just around the corner - and it's back to the Czech Republic. Špičák is calling! The track is a classic, the riders' field is full and the weekend promises once again: pure technique, speed and racing.
Unfortunately, we have once again received the cancellation of the iXS Downhill Cup race in Bad Tabarz. Somehow it reminds us of déjà vu, but it is actually the second cancellation in a row, as the traditional race in Thuringia was also canceled in 2024.
