We want to advice you of the 2. race of the iXS European Downhill Cup in Leogang on 11th/12th of July 2009. The combination with the “Out of Bounds Weekend” and the Austrian Downhill Championships promises even more action packed gravity riding.
Duncan Riffle in the Red Bull Hot Seat
The first stop with over 300 riders from 19 nations was a consummately prelude. After having qualified as third-fastest, America’s Duncan Riffle (DRR/Giantnerd) has won the «iXS European Downhill Cup»’s first race of the season in Verbier, clearly besting the times of New Zealand’s Matthew Scoles (Bike NZ), Ireland’s Ben Reid (Just Reid Race Team) and the surprisingly fast German Benny Strasser (Toxoholic/iXS).
