Last weekend, the iXS Swiss Downhill Cup finally opened its 11th season in Morgins, when 400 riders from 17 different nations made their way to Portes du Soleil – a real biker’s paradise.

Seeding Run Results Morgins

Melvin Pons (FRA - US Cagnes) was fastest today. Julien Piccolo (FRA - X1 racing) came on second and Mads Weidemann (SWE - MadsWeidemann.com) on third.  Martina Brühlmann (SUI - iXS Gravity Union) dominated with a lead of 10 seconds the women field.

At the first weekend of June, the Bikepark Tirol opened its doors to a huge number of riders and spectators of a nerve-racking downhill race - again.  In fact, it is already the second race of the iXS German Downhill Cup that takes place in Steinach am Brenner. In spite of the rather pessimistic weather forecast, 435 riders from 19 different countries arrived early on Friday morning ready to race regardless of wind and rain.
