Now in its second year the iXS Rookies Cup will be expanding to take in Switzerland. The third stop on the juniors’ and rookies’ tour will be in Anzére. This mountain village, located at an altitude of 1500 m in the Canton of Wallis, will be giving ambitious amateur riders the chance to gather their first competitive experience at the recently opened bike park. But it is not just the bike park which will make participants’ pulses race; the breathtaking panorama of the Wallis Alps, including several peaks over 4000 metres, also leaves a lasting impression on visitors.
