Verbier

As was already the case last year, the first race of the iXS European Downhill Cup will take place in Switzerland. The host will be Verbier, which is not only known for its winter sports activities, but rather has already been able to make a name for itself on the mountain bike scene. In 1998, the location lying along the French section of the Valais was already the site of the Swiss Championships. The 2.2-km-long route encompassing almost 600! hm called "Tire´s Fire" is pre-destined to be the prelude to the European Tour.
