The iXS European Downhill Cup will stop in Ilmenau for 3 days. After the realization of the German Championship 2007, now in 13^th year of existence, the “Absolute Abfahrt” will become the athletic climax for Europe's Downhill Elite. That spectacle is a magnet for thousands of spectators every year. They can experience the atmosphere of the race from start until finish very closely! The race is organised since 1996 and belongs to the most popular races in Germany last but not least because of the funfair atmosphere.
